We are nowhere and it's now.

I havn't had a lot to talk about recently, hence why i have not posted anything on here.
I'm really trying so hard to find a job of any sort just for some extra money but i am honestly having no luck and i have been looking for over 3 months now. I'm getting approached about some of my artwork though to exhibit and sell, so hopefully something comes from that?

Other than that i have just been thinking a lot about my future, applying for uni at the end of this year but hugely unsure if i actually want to do it. I'm already nearly 20 years old & feel like i have already done so much study that i should be employed/making money by now. i have finished year 12, done a cert III in comercial arts and a cert II in multimedia & now doing cert IV in visual arts. Do i really want to move to BRISBANE?
Im confused, very confused.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting really into cooking lately. I went all out last night and made the best massaman curry of my life. I even made the paste from scratch, which was hectic. But in the end after a whole days worth of simmering it turned out heavenly. Mitch's friend Dylan has been staying with us for 5 or so days now, mainly because Mitchy just got skate3 but i'm sure the cooking i have done is accounting to that to :) I made a kick-ass banana cake yesterday with the bananas i got locally from where my family lives. It was divine.

I have been working on this drawing since Thursday evening, i took this picture a few days ago and it's done now so i will have to take a better one soon. I got all inspired by the film Pans labyrinth. Hope you enjoy :)

  1. I think you should apply for uni....just in case (so you have the option and you can always cancel it) and you can always defer it.

And for jobs, a majority of my friends and families find work in Brisbane, but still live on the coast!

I really do wish you all the luck in the world.

p.s I am soooo jealous of your talent of being able to cook, especially making the paste from scratch.

  2. I think i will apply for uni but i'm really nervous/hesitant because it's a big life change. It means moving to brisbane, it means convincing mitch to come with me & start a 3 year course when i'm already nearly 20... Also i only applied for QUT last year and am considering applying for QCA at Griffith but not sure... i feel like i'm not good enough to do anything haha.
But i think i have a job lined up at 19karen at the moment! Im excited :D

You should come round sometime and i'll teach YOU how to make a curry hehehehe. xx
